Post home brew, cheapskate or your own solutions to common parts problems here.
Here's an example:
I recently had my Hayes disk pad rebonded at EDSA since I couldn't get replacement pads plus i'm totally cheap. As recent as kanina.
Result:
1. Problem: they made it too thick. Quick solution: I had to sand them a bit using 120 grit sand paper. I made sure that I was sanding with water so I won't inhale the dust. There might be asbestos hahaha.
2. Paksyet, they are very very much grabbier than the old pads I had (metal), though I think now I have metal+resin. I think this is how a Hope Mono Trials feel haha
3. Downside: My rotors will now have uneven wear like my cheap rebonded diskbrake pads in my car, it will eat up my disks. It sucks? Yeah right, at P100? I have an extra disk hehe.
