| ROMBLON ECO-ADVENTURE CHALLENGE
The Romblon Eco Challenge is set for January 9, 2009 somewhere in the verdant island of Romblon.The race course is set along a 65 km of adventure terrain covering towns, mountains, coastlines and the open sea in what promise to become the most exciting adventure racing event of 2009. The race will include trail running, mountain biking, trekking, swimming paddling, rope sections, orienteering and a few other surprises as well.CATEGORIES: ALL-MEN and MIXED CATEGORY (Team category, each team shall have 2 racers with either mixed or all male composition)PRIZES:ALL- MEN CATEGORY1st Prize: 30,000.00 + Trophy or Medals + Sponsor’s items2nd Prize: 20,000.00 + Trophy or Medals + Sponsor’s items3rd Prize: 15,000.00 + Trophy or Medals + Sponsor’s itemsMIXED CATEGORY1st Prize: 30,000.00 + Trophy or Medals + Sponsor’s items2nd Prize: 20,000.00 + Trophy or Medals + Sponsor’s items3rd Prize: 15,000.00 + Trophy or Medals + Sponsor’s itemsKING OF THE MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE (MTB RACE) The race will test the competitor’s mountain biking skills and endurance on a very challenging race course covering the whole island of Romblon.
