| Hello mga riders! I'm very new to this sport and I need a little advice on which trial bike to get. I've heard good things about the Giant STP. Meron ba nun dito? Any suggestions? | |

| Yes meron dito nun. Madami naka STP dito.
I've heard good things about it pero obligado ka gumamit either suspension fork or suspension corrected rigid fork.

sir kunin mo ung frame lang kung may option ka na frame lang, para ikaw pipili ng pyesa mo na talagang gusto mo, kung kukunin mo ung whole bike you will end up changing the parts and mas magastos un. ok pre good luck on your bike pre and post your pics as soon as buo na

| i agree with apol. pero kung meron madami kang extrang money... you can also get the whole bike tapos bili ka ng parts. yung napalitan mo gawin mong reserba. at least kung merong matamaan at masira, may kapalit kaagad. i also suggest buying an extra dropout, just in case. hehehehe. | |

Ok ba yun & meron ba nun dito? Gusto ko na talaga bumuo ng bike!

Bro just to destroy the myth. Si RL natuto using a rigid fork at si Jeff Lenosky ay higante hehe, yes you can learn using a suspension fork by all means also. No problem with that. Pero bro yung times na naghahalo sina Lenosky at Leech ng Street/Trials was a confusing time for trials (sa US lang, not in the rest of the world). Ngayon bro its either you go street or trials. Uso yun nung mga early 2000, kasabay yung mga planetX na frames... jack of all trades, master of none a.k.a. Richard Gomez (no offense to the guy, yun lang ang "tawag" sa kanya nung iba nuong kabataan ko hehe add to the Dictionary please hehe). RL is doing trials, not street-trials. The only difference sa kanya is more geared for beginners. "Grab your MTB and start trials" kinda thing. He dropped the street moves a long time ago, mainly to identify what he is doing as trials. Let me explain further for fun .. I think there are 3 schools of trials: Comp Vincent Hermance, Kenny & Wesley Beleay, Coustilier brothers, Thomas Ohler etc. Street Niel Tunnicliffe, Damon Watson - TGS guys (tap-gap-sidehop) Others TRA (hehe ma classify si TRA, di sya comp di sya street) or Ryan Leech (si RL nagna-naturals din, so hindi din sya maclassify as "street-trials") Search mo sila sa Youtube for starters Hang with us sometime kahit naka MTB ka, naka road bike or playbike it doesn't matter. See us play and then sama ka sa street guys, panoorin mo sina Archie etc mag street then see what you feel ang type mo yun na. If you choose Trials then pre you have to commit to have ika nga Practice, Patience & Persistence. Choose a bike that will not hinder your progress. Aim to progress, fun is already a given.

| well, bawi ako... pat is right. hehe. I'm into mtb, trail, not-so-downhill, not-so-dirty-jumps, and fun. but then, i think i want more. I want to learn how to play with my bike. not the other way around. which often happens to me. LOL! so i got my 20" mod to get started. this bike is made to do those stuff, and so i'm hoping that it could help me with what i'm looking forward to. hehe. yet, i should find time to spend with it. practice and patience is the key. now, hope to unlock the game. hehe. i wish biking is just a psp | |

| ako mag 24 na ako na pang street. nangangarap lang ako na magagawa ko mga bagay na gusto ko sa malaking bike. even with a great geom, malaki pa rin sa akin ang 26er for street. pwede namang playbike na lang e. at mas importante sa akin ngayon ang AM bike. gusto ko ng bike na ride anywhere any time without considerations. rather than a special bike for specific things. | |

@biketayo- ano nga ba height mo, meron akong available na STP yung large version. Black, semi used. STP large: size 13 - top tube 23"- chainstay - 16" STP regular: size 13 - top tube 22"- chainstay - 15.75" sa Fire-eye naman, short fuse ang maganda, mababa sya, 13" din like the STP, tapos horizontal drop out kaya, if you want to go SS, walang problema. pwede mo ding paigsiin yung chainstay up to 16.5 or 15 even. kaso, compare sa STRP, mabigat sya kasi steel. 4130 Chromoly.
